Virtual Epics.10

Whenever I tell people what I do for a living I get essentially the same response.  It is generally along the lines of, “Wow!  That’s the best job ever.”  I have to agree.  But I see it from a different perspective.  When I reflect on an adventure, I remember the people, and the places much more than the skiing.  Don’t get me wrong, I love to ski.  But it’s the differences in cultures and environments that make skiing so different from one place to the next.  Every adventure comes with a price, and it is these costs that make for entertaining stories later.  Virtual Epics is where I will share most of these stories.

In 2010 I hope to be able to share the people and the experiences of powder skiing in Hokkaido, Japan; backcountry skiing in Colorado; a guide’s exam in British Columbia; ski mountaineering in the Eastern Alps; developing a ski teaching model for a resort in China; working more closely with equipment companies; and of course, big mountain skiing in South America.

I truly hope that you enjoy reading about these adventures almost as much as I enjoy writing them.  But remember, there is no way you will ever no how much fun we had doing them unless you get out with us and make your own adventure!  Thanks for following along and taking the time to read.  I truly hope we cross tracks soon!
